Living in Baby-land

Hi Alpenglow fam!! I’m so excited to give you an update on how we’re doing...(with pictures of course!). Everyone is great! It was quite an unexpected start to parenthood; my birth story is something we’re still processing, but happy to report we are all healthy, happy and got lucky with an EASY baby after a bit of a rocky start. Long story short, labor lasted about 4 days and ended with some complications that transferred us over to the team at St. Joe’s where we received great care. It always works out the way it's supposed to. I’m still recovering, but feeling better and better everyday!  

Since then, the last month or so has been quite the transition, but we are getting into a good groove! Eat, sleep, poop, repeat. Worthy is such a sweet little guy with the best demeanor and is VERY snuggly. It has been the best time getting to know each other and learning what it means to be parents. And for those of you who are curious, Curly (our puppy) LOVES his little brother. He is very attentive and gentle. He loves to sit with us while Worthy nurses and follows us to every diaper change. I wasn’t sure how my heart would be shared by all my loves, but it turns out it just grew in size!  

Enough about me... how are you guys?? I’ve been thinking about everyone and am excited to get back in the office after Labor Day! I’ve heard from a few of you and will be checking in more as I make my way back into the office. I can’t wait to hear how everyone has been spending their summer - safely and in good health, hopefully!
