Meet Cortnae!

Cortnae Morris

Cortnae Morris

We’d like to introduce you to Cortnae Morris, the newest acupuncturist on our team! If you have seen this new face around the office, then you may have gotten a chance to meet the one helping cover Sarah’s maternity leave. She’s been following along, learning the ropes, and we are very excited to have her on board! Sarah is grateful to have some time to spend training Corntae before the baby comes to help ensure continuity of care. She will be leaving her patients in great hands while she’s enjoying the first few months of motherhood.

A little bit about Cortnae:

She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture degree from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in April 2018. This 28 month program consists of 2,265 hours of education including 525 hours of clinical practice. Her training includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, tui na, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. She was also certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in April of 2020. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the American Association of Oriental Medicine and has plans to finish her masters in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine in the near future.

Another fun fact, Cortnae is a rare breed of Colorado native! She enjoys hiking, yoga, live music, and spending time with her animals. She has experience working with animals for over 20 years as a veterinary tech and continues that work today. Early in her career with animals, she witnessed the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine with her patients, as well as her own pets. She was so impressed that when she tried it for herself and found relief for both physical ailments and anxiety. She knew that she had found a new path!

With a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, and pain management, Cortnae is looking forward to working with you!
